GICW - Gulf Shores AL to Niceville FL

Gulf State Park We are now officially in Florida! Hip hip horay! We should start seeing warmer weather more regularly now even though we are still in northern Florida. (It's still much warmer than back home) For those who don't follow us on Facebook, we left Homeport Marina (home of the famous Lulu's restaurant - she's Jimmy Buffets sista!) and stopped at Orange Beach Marina (still in Alabama).  We really liked our stay there - it is another of those places that we would like to come back and spend more time. It was a short ride the next morning to transit the very last lock of the Inland Rivers. Yay!!! The lockage went really smooth and we thought we would have another great day. The weather had warmed up, but not the water... as a result we hit fog on the river. So, we found another anchorage (mile 100, old lock wall) not to far and waited it out the fog a good two hours...
