Daytona Beach, FL to Jekyll Island, GA

As we keep cruising along, we still can't get over how awesome the people we meet are and what amazing places there are to discover and learn about. Our Great Loop has been an "eye opener" for us - we aren't sure we're going to want to stop traveling when we are done! Great Dunes Beach Park, Jekyll Island We stayed in Daytona one night, not long enough to really explore, but we did get a chance to walk to the "historic" street, not far from the marina. Our plan from there was to get to St. Augustine before the bad weather arrived, so we didn't linger very long before we started our travel day. We made reservations at the Rivers Edge Marina , it's off the main AICW, but was centrally located to shopping and the historic downtown.  When it wasn't raining, we got some exploring done and learnt quite a bit about the area.
